        • ESU 4,5,6 has Behavior Series in March and July to submit $3000 will roughly be the expense
        • ESU 10 may have a small amount, TBD
      • Behavior, how to request reimbursement
        • Moody to check with ESUPDO LC meeting on when to request, what needs to be approved prior, what expenses will the grant cover, mini grants...and will send email out to the group in response

        • 3 day training, limited to 25 participants
        • Clark discussed this at liaison meeting for NASES
          • supported by Gary Sherman
        • will cost $12,300 - 15,000 with a follow up day included
        • Open first to this ESPD group and after all have signed up, then will go first come first serve
      • Mini-grants
        • out of state registrations, ie: Breckenridge, Mid-West Symposium
        • equal amount for each ESU
        • AESA to go to National Conference
      • Training to come to ESPD
        • ie: Solution Tree, Marzano, other leadership trainings

  • ESUPDO - January 10th & 11th - Kearney

  • Breakthrough Coach Training - January 18th & 19th
    • Those who attended were Meyer, Elmshouser, Stokebrand, Clark, Polk, Moody
    • 2 day training for Administrators (day 1 with Admin only, day 2 Admin and secretary)
    • Time management
    • How to have a LIFE and a CAREER
    • Clean up spaces
    • Secretaries manage schedules
    • NASES follow up with Jill Pancoast
      • Will be Lincoln on April 19, not advertised as NASES so it will be available for more variety of people
      • 2 hour for Sped admin and regular ed administrators
      • snapshot of 2 day training
      • Will plan to have a follow up 2 day training in the fall (Sept 13-14, 2012 in Kearney)

  • SRS - Stuart
    • Bills-rate will be the same with the same process
      • Any questions, call Clark at ESU 1
    • New forms on SRS
      • some issues need to be addressed and have been taken to the programmers
    • Compliance
      • some training issues to make sure the forms are used with compliance validity
      • EDN and logo. EDN feels the logo needs to be the EDN logo. School districts want it to be their logo.
        • Suggestions: use school logo and put an EDN logo sticker on it.
    • Stylescope
      • District wide data analysis
      • Data dashboard
      • can look at data graphically
      • Currently when creating a new IEP form
      • Will soon be easier to use it
      • Make sure do not have demo district
      • Available to everyone
      • Only connects to kids that person has access to
      • piece of software SRS has purchased

      • If associate district manager on each district can look at ESU wide data
      • Plan in place to make SRS faster as any info older than 3 years will be archived as pdf

    • Meyers provided handout of the Part B Parent Survey Cycle list

    • Staff Evaluations
      • Stokebrand discussed what she is doing with her staff
        • fully operational for sped staff
        • building rubrics for other staff
        • are using the rubrics from Danielson as a start
        • Submitted the process to NDE for filing
      • Phillips discussed LPS and their rubrics

  • Additional Items
    • Summer, June, training/meeting for bookkeepers, admin. assistants, secretaries. More to come.
    • Spring NASES may have opportunity for support staff as well, More to come.
